From Late October: Our family trip to Yankton

around the third week of October we took a trip to Yankton South Dakota.  IT was a wonderful time.  My friend Anna Jo had her wedding reception there, for us mid-western friends and we stayed in the best hotel ever (if you have kiddos).  Our room was "pool side".  We actually had a sliding door out to the pool.  AND the pool had a little kiddy pool with a slide, once we got Ishmael going, he could play BY HIMSELF while I watched...that was pretty nice.  I put Simon in the water, but he seemed to prefer the warm water of his baths at home to the too cool chlorinated water of the pool.

Seriously, if you are ever in Yankton and have kids....stay at the Best Western and Kelly Inn!

This look sums up what Simon thought of being at the wedding reception.  He pretty much shut down...so he didn't stay too long :)  We however had a lovely time at dinner talking about Jesus, church minister and social justice with an author....sure wish we would have written down his name...fail.
